Algebraix Data Is Granted U.S. Patent for Proprietary Advanced Analytics Technology

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 25, 2009 — Algebraix Data Corporation today announced that it is has been granted U.S. Patent No. 7,613,734, for its systems and methods for providing data sets using a store of algebraic relations.

The technological invention was developed by Algebraix Data co-founder and CTO Chris Piedemonte, a software entrepreneur with a 20-year track record of successfully creating innovative solutions to problems in complex online information systems.

Many database and data storage systems have predetermined schema that impose a structure on data when it is received, which can lead to significant inefficiencies that prevent it from efficiently or quickly capturing, translating and processing the data provided.
